Like Louis, I like to come back to this page as a pep talk - I hate to admit it, but it is more therapeutic than talking to my best friend (but that will stay between me and this blog). The way Jini describes her life lessons with humour, candor and a catchy "roll-with-the-punches" attitude is what gives this piece heart. The two aspects that I find most valuable are truth and trust. We are conditioned in an environment of hypocrisy that many are actually made uncomfortable when someone is completely candid and refuses to hide the blotches. And because of this constant hypocrisy - I find it hard to trust others - and sometimes even myself. I would find it terribly difficult to go and meet someone I only faxed and called! I'm hoping some of your guts gets through to me by process of diffusion.

There's a lot of interesting advices and lessons of life here, I'll be back.

Oh, and a personal advice from me: money is just a measure with its own limits.

Thanks Ashley! I remember my Dad saying to me: would you like to be an optometrist (because he was one) or a secretary?

??!!

Our folks generation just did not have a lot to give in terms of good guidance! Hopefully we will do a better job...

Wow, what an inspirational journey - and a great role-model for young women. I gauge we're in the same age cohort - and I would have to say that your confidence in yourself, fearlessness and independence aren't common attributes. I can still hear my best friend's mother insisting she dedicate herself to becoming a nurse so that she may snag a doctor to marry! I hope my daughter follows her passions as fearlessly and with as much spunk. kudos.

Good Day Guru, what made you want to write on Life’s A Trip… And Other Business Lessons? I was wondering, because I have been thinking about this since last Thursday.

Hi. Not totally agree with you, but you just gave me an idea for a new eBook regarding \"Life’s A Trip… And Other Business Lessons\". It is related to best selling chocolate bar. Thanks.
